North Winds calls would be considered a
“convertible” call. Styled after the Circe models, this call is
modular in that it has a mouthpiece that fit 3 different barrel
sizes and held snugly into place by a rubber o-ring.
Metal reeds are inserted and removed through
the mouthpiece in the standard
fashion.
North Winds Calls were originally sold in
orange single call
packages and also kits with all 3 barrels included. Kits came with 2
extra voices.
North Winds planned to market a “black” version of
their call for the raccoon hunter, but the call never hit the store
shelves. These calls were stored loose in boxes in an attic.
Since they were never sold, there was no need for
clamshell packaging.
The
calls are new but have scuffs in the barrels from the way they
were stored.
There is a limited supply of never released
Black North Winds Calls lying somewhere in a Rubbermaid bucket.
(wink, wink)
Available in both orange and black. Black
comes in 3 barrel set. Sizes are short range, medium range and long
range.
I
do not have very many orange North Winds calls left. It is
best to call and inquire what barrel lengths are
available.
